I don’t believe men as a general body are as bad as all that. It is us women with our ideals, expectations, double standards and impossible lists of requirements that ruin them for us. If we just accepted them as the simple, impulsive, instinct-driven beings they were, maybe we could be happy. We are not lobsters! Deal with it.
So I just slept for 12 hours straight. Weird. Maybe that’s what’s meant to happen when you actually use your brain to revise for once. Also, crazy dreams! You should not watch walking with dinosaurs before bed…
So what the actual France are these twenty-somethings? We know they are male, we know they are attractive, we know they can be very mature at times and at others they don’t do so well cope with ‘life’. BUT, when are they going to decide if they are men or boys? They shouldn’t get to act as both and leave us women in a perpetual state of confusion. You call us the touchy, temperamental tornadoes of terror but where is the alliterated metaphor for you guys? Double f*cking standards as usual. Some famous, dead bloke once said something about being ‘all things to all men’ and I think he was taking about what the less-fair sex expect from us.
So buck up, Medusa’s home, you have to choose.
Are you man or child?
You see, it’s not that humanity is dysfunctional or that life just isn’t fair. It’s just the way the world works, there’s no changing it or becoming the exception to the rule, you have to adapt. In biological terms, find your niche and bloody well stick to it. And once you have you will be amazed to discover that life isn’t actually that hard.
So here’s hoping I find my niche and that Darwin wasn’t mental.
